The Motto:  “Those patient Hufflepuff’s are true and unafraid of toil”.

The House of Hufflepuff is one of the four famous Houses in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The House was named after Helga Hufflepuff. Helga Hufflepuff had a gift related to food recipes and it is used to this day for any celebrations in Hogwarts. She also helped House Elf’s have a safe environment to work at.

The House colors chosen by Helga Hufflepuff were yellow and black. The animal representing the house is a badger. Followed by the traits which are loyal, hard work, patience, and justice. The House ghost was Fat Friar who was a former student at Hogwarts and did belong to House of Hufflepuff.

The Hufflepuff Common room is located in an basement area that is near Hogwarts’s kitchens. Students access the dormitories by tapping the barrel two from the bottom from the middle of the 2nd row. The common room is described as being a welcoming place with yellow banners that match the house color, large armchairs and even an underground tunnels that leads to the dormitories. Lastly the element for the House of Hufflepuff is earth.
